Data Analytics Engineer
We are seeking a self-starting Analytics Engineer to join our team - someone who is eager to make an impact, take initiative, and learn in a dynamic environment.
You will play a key role in supporting the business by helping to transform data into a state where it can be leveraged by Product Analytics, Marketing, and the rest of the company. This will help the business unleash the value locked in the data. You will build data pipelines and related reporting and analytics, in collaboration with product and marketing analysts.
You will be working in the Product Analytics team, responsible for generating insights that improve (micro)conversions along the customer journey, helping to make the product even better, and elevating the customer experience. Within the team, you will help to create a solid analytics infrastructure for product and web data, which will serve this team and other parts of the business.
We need you to:
Help your coworkers at Atida make informed, data-driven decisions by creating the building blocks for reports and analysis relating to the digital shop.
Help them provide a better customer experience and work more efficiently through access to high-quality data.
Own the product analytics data pipelines, from “raw” customer event data to final tables that can easily be used by non-technical business stakeholders.
What you’ll need to do:
Collaborate with analysts and other business stakeholders to understand how data needs to be delivered
Process customer event data into tables that can be used downstream for reporting, analytics, and automation
Create scheduled jobs that process data reliably and scalably
Proactively monitor data pipelines to ensure that they run as expected
Set up tests to ensure the reliability, consistency, and accuracy of data
Identify where the data you need is located and, where necessary, liaise with the product and development teams to include the tracking of the relevant events
Proactively improve the quality of digital data through monitoring and debugging potential data issues
Set up reporting and conduct analysis to help improve data pipeline performance and improve the quality of data
You’ll need to:
Be proficient in SQL and Python
Having 3+ years of experience creating data pipelines (whether in analytics, data/software engineering, or analytics engineering)
Have knowledge of, or willingness to learn, our tech stack (Azure, DBT, Power BI)
Be comfortable working in a fast-changing, entrepreneurial environment
Be keen to learn new things and grow, taking on new responsibilities
Be humble but honest, open to giving and receiving well-meaning feedback
Take initiative in order to help customers, colleagues, and the company
Have the ability to switch between business and technical requirements
